Yara has an international customer base that routinely purchases farming related equipment from them. Now they would like to build a Loyalty section within their already existing app ecosystem.
Create an app specifically for YaraPlus Loyalty members. This app must align to their current design system and practices.
I was the sole designer in charge of mapping out the user experience for this program. After setting up that portion, I created high fidelity designs by applying the already existing YaraPlus Design System to my creations.
Here are the user flow diagrams I created for YaraPlus’ Loyalty Program. This is what kicked off our project and helped initiate meaningful conversations about not only design, but also about the development team’s level of effort. I created this with both my development and business analyst team in order to conceptualize what we will need from Yara. This process or user mapping was very insightful as it helped fill any information gaps as well as it was a good visual to show to our Yara stakeholders
The first section to be designed would be on-boarding existing YaraPlus users into this new experience. This required some process mapping on the backend due to how YaraPlus Loyalty would essentially be a different account as this program is integrated into the Yara ecosystem.
The design process on this project was pretty swift and straight forward since I was using a design system that already had specific rules. There were only a couple instances that required me to either add a new component, or enhance a current component so it flows with the experience.
Here is the first place a new and returning user sees after account creation or validation. The callout here are the challenge cards, since YaraPlus didn't have an instance where they would use cards in this way. After meeting with their lead designers, we decided that cards should have space for body copy and also have a flexible bottom half that isn't restricted to CTA buttons.
This page is the main reason why farmers will be coming to this portal. Farmers essentially take a photo of their Yara receipt and submit it via the Upload CTA button shown below. Once the document has been validated, points will be rewarded to the user's account which can be redeemed via an
i-Frame embed of a third-party platform.
